Last of its kind

Synagoga Nozykow

Before 1939, more than 30% of Warsaw's population was Jewish. During the war, most of Warsaw was demolished, including the Jewish neighborhood. This is the only synagogue that survived the war. It is more than 100 years old. I visited the interior of the synagogue. It isn't a particularly beautiful synagogue, but it's survival does really make it a special place.
